We watched the first episode of “The Boroughs” and only the first few minutes and last few minutes were horror. The remainder was a story about a nice, curmudgeonly nerdy septuagenerian (played by Alfred Molina), who is struggling with the sudden death of a wife he adored and his own mortality. He has a detached retina and so he can’t drive anymore and he’s moved into senior living and hates it. Also, Geena Davis is 70. I mean, she looks FANTASTIC but she is 70. Seems like ten minutes ago she was a starlet prancing around in her underwear in a dressing-room scene in “Tootsie.”
