The terrorist inside Robin Williams’ brain

Robin Williams’ widow, Susan Schneider Williams, describes his losing struggle with a terrible brain disease.

Just before he took his own life, Williams was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. After his death, he was diagnosed with Lewy body disease, a gruesome condition whose symptoms include overwhelming fear and anxiety, memory loss, and an array of physical complaints.

“Robin was losing his mind and he was aware of it,” says his widow.
